Fortress Hohensalzburg
Just a short trip from Genussdorf, Leopoldskron Pond is one of those special places where Salzburg suddenly becomes quiet. With views of Schloss Leopoldskron, the fortress and the surrounding mountains, it is a wonderful spot for a gentle walk, a deep breath and a peaceful moment. The loop around the pond is especially beautiful in the morning or early evening, when the light softens and Salzburg shows its calmer side.
